Design and Project Implementation Management: June
2007 through November 2007, I worked as a project manager on the EDS NMCI
Legacy Completion Program (LEC). LEC is/will identify and migrate/or
remove Navy and Marine Corps legacy systems off the NMCI transport. March
2006, to May 2007, I served as an EDS Project Manager. I managed
network and mid-range server projects. During this period, from July
2006 to May 2007, I served as the Network PM for the EDS American Presidents
Line (APL) transformation. I was responsible for implementing the EDS
network that would support the various environments (Mainframe, AS400, SUN,
AIX and WINTEL). From
March 2006 through June 2006, I managed five (5) Bimbo Bakery mid-range
server projects in the EDS Plano Service Management Center (SMC). July
2003 to March 2006, I served as a Project Manager on the EDS Bank of America
account. I was responsible for migrating traffic from IDNX, NORTEL
Passport and Stratacom equipment to Cisco 3745 Multi Function Routers.
EDS and Bank of America expanded the Heritage Project to include the merger
of the Fleet Network which Bank of America acquired. From
April 2002 through June 2003, I served as the Voice Subject Matter Expert
(SME) on the EDS Navy Marine Corps Intranet contract. I was responsible
for developing plans for converting the Navy and Marine Corps existing
systems to a NMCI solution. Responsibilities included, but were not
limited to: 1
developing voice architecture via IP network using existing voice
equipment (Avaya, Cisco and Nortel Networks). I evaluated pure VoIP
solutions and voice through traditional PBX systems with IP trunking. I
also evaluated the interoperability and limitations of the VoIP systems and
solutions. 2
developing alternate voice architecture using existing voice equipment
(Avaya, Cisco and Nortel Networks) using traditional voice solutions. 3
developing voice implementation strategy and monitoring implementation
to ensure results meet contractual requirements. I coordinated with
engineers, contracting and legal departments so EDS could provide voice
services per NMCI contract. 4

Networks) in the San Diego lab. I performed interoperability testing
between the three systems. The testing included switching hardware and
end user devices. 5

June 1999 to October 2001 I was Lead for the EDS Network Installation Team
(NIT) that supported the National Guard Bureau’s (NGB) Distance Learning
project. I coordinated with various EDS groups and Local and Long
Distance telecommunications vendors to insure that connectivity was available
for Distance Learning Classrooms as they were installed and made
operational. During this period, I was also a part of the NGB Voice
Integration Plans Team, I assisted NGB in developing and implementing voice
plans and data integration; performed site surveys and developed Statements
of Requirements (SOR) so NGB could upgrade, replace and enhance their voice
and data network nationwide and coordinated with the NGB wide area network
(WAN) contractor to establish the best method to integrate the voice onto the
State National Guards’ WAN. I
served AMSTAR Communications as the Pacific Region Manager and was directly
responsible for AMSTAR Pacific Rim operations to include Hawaii, Guam and
Saipan. The position required defining, establishing and coordinating
large telecommunications projects with high-level management in both
commercial companies and government organizations. While
with GSA, both Regions 7 and 9, I was responsible for performing essential
managerial functions to ensure satisfactory telecommunications service to GSA
customers. I managed the conversion of numerous GSA systems throughout
the five-state Region 7 area (Arkansas, Louisiana, New Mexico, Oklahoma, and
Texas) during the implementation of FTS2000 by interfacing with GSA customers
to resolve problems relating to local, long distance, and international
service. While
with Department of Defenses, I was responsible for system design, technical
capability, requirements development, and oversight management for upgrading
telecommunications systems throughout CONUS under the CONUS Telephone
Modernization Program (CTMP) and Outside Cable Rehabilitation (OSCAR)
programs. I performed these duties at Fort Bliss, TX, Fort
